Jason is a graduate of Huddersfield University (LL.B Hons 1st Class) and has been a solicitor for almost 20 years. Jason specialises in commercial real estate and corporate mergers and acquisitions. He trained at Armitage Sykes (now Schofield Sweeney) in Huddersfield under Robert Turner and Philip Brewer who were well known and highly respected solicitors.
Jason is also a former employee of Finn Gledhill but left the Firm in 2016 to join International Law Firm DAC Beachcroft in its commercial real estate team. From there Jason spent two years as a Director at a local firm in Liverpool where he was also the Firm’s Anti Money laundering Officer and Compliance Officer for Financial Affairs.
Jason has now returned “home” to Finn Gledhill bringing with him a wealth of experience in all manner of commercial real estate work (including both residential and commercial developments) and corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Outside of work Jason can be found spending most of his time with his two teenage sons. He has a keen interest in political and financial scandals (he is a self-confessed nerd on all matters relating to the Credit Crunch) and wanted to be a spy when he was younger. His favourite book is Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and his favourite film is Once Upon a Time in America.
